Ambleside | Parent Involvement

The Ambleside model is a partnership between parents and school, and parent involvement is critical to our success. Parents are encouraged to speak directly to their children's teachers if they have any comments or concerns, and regular Parent Meetings are held to foster a sense of shared community.

Parent involvement in the life of the school is facilitated by the Parent Volunteers of Ambleside (PVA), lead by the PVA Director. The PVA Director co-ordinates a number of teams that are active in the life of the school:

Event planning and management

Fundraising and marketing

Classroom parents

Communications

Tuck-shop

ALL Ambleside parents are urged to give some of their time and energy to the work of the PVA - as little as 30 minutes a week can make a huge difference! Please contact the School Office for more information on how you can participate.
