Education Costs

Currently the annual tuition per child is between R25 000-R30 000.

This includes tuition, stationery, outings and a mandatory school outfit

It does not include extra lessons, private extra-murals, sports equipment and the like.

While our school is open to all, we have limited resources. However, we have done all in our power to never turn away a determined parent or concerned family friend wanting to give a child the excellent education we offer.

These children have an advantage over many others, in that someone has noticed their plight and is willing to do something concrete to ensure that they do not fall through the cracks. This in itself qualifies the child for admission, as we want to be assured that someone in the child's life will be willing to "go the distance" and become part of our larger network of support and upliftment. In this way we have ensured many significant successes, "one child at a time".

Our desire is to continue this work for decades to come. We have been cautious to ensure the sustainability of our work by responsibly administering our resources.

Our conviction is that through one child at a time we can make a positive contribution to the future of South Africa.

We believe that Ambleside School of Hout Bay will produce some of tomorrow's significant leaders and community role-players.
